Research Internship at the Robotics and Human Engineering Laboratory
 – University of California, Berkeley

Worked on a medical device that aims to reduce fatigue at the knee during various ambulation activities by re-using stored energy and providing additional strength and support.

I developed and manufactured the entire electronic control module of the exoskeleton (using EAGLE), as well as the firmware (in C) which incorporates the control mechanisms for the device.

I combined this with a smartphone application, which I wrote in Java, to wirelessly communicate with the control module, allowing for the modification of various gait control parameters.
